About the role: The role involves servicing waste handling equipment including balers and compactors, as well as loading bay equipment such as dock levellers and scissor lifts. Training will be provided for the specific equipment if you don’t already possess the required knowledge.
The Role:
- Service Engineer covering the North East region
- Monday to Friday – 50 hours per week (Guaranteed 50 hours pay even if only 45 hours worked)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- 1 in 7 on-call rota (£700)
Candidate Requirements:
- Electrical skills – Good
- Mechanical and hydraulic skills – Average
- Must live within a reasonable travelling distance of Leeds
- Valid driving licence
- Experience with balers and compactors is beneficial but not essential
