Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a varied role within a precision engineering environment? Our client is looking for a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter to join their manufacturing team, producing high-quality precision components using modern CNC milling machinery.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Programming using Fanuc, Heidenhain and/or Mazatrol control systems
- Working across 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres
- Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances
- Selecting appropriate tooling and optimising machining processes
- Troubleshooting programming, machining and equipment issues
The Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer / Setter
- Strong CNC milling and programming experience
- Experience with one or more of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Mazatrol control systems
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis machining would be advantageous
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
