Are you an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.
You'll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently. The Role:
- Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team
- Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance
- Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work
- Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Identifying opportunities for plant improvement
- Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date
- Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance
The Candidate:
- Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
- Good working knowledge of electrical systems
- 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
- Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
