Are you an experienced Lead Maintenance Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department.

You'll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently. The Role:

  • Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team
  • Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance
  • Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work
  • Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained
  • Identifying opportunities for plant improvement
  • Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date
  • Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance

The Candidate:

  • Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3
  • Good working knowledge of electrical systems
  • 4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure
