Do you have strong communication and hand tools mechanical experience? Are you able to read engineering drawings? Do you want a new role within an industry leading manufacturing company who can provide first class training and development to move you into a technical support role?
Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join the team at their state of the art facility near Pocklington. The successful applicant will come from an assembly/mechanical engineering background and will have access to an excellent in house training platform.
Once trained you will be able to inspect sign off finished machinery, report back any potential quality issues and work with the engineering teams to implement potential changes. You will also become a technical point of contact for customers, understanding the products so that you can understand enquiries and provide possible solutions support.
