Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking for a stable, permanent role with real progression, varied work and regular overtime?
The company are an established engineering business specialising in the repair and overhaul of rotating equipment across a range of industrial applications. They are looking to add fitters to their team in the Birmingham area.
The role involves repairing and rebuilding gearboxes, pumps, electric motors and fans, mainly in the workshop with infrequent work at customer sites once every quarter.

The Role
*Repair and rebuild gearboxes, pumps and electric motors
*Monday to Friday - 40 hours
*Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
*Fit and remove bearings
*Use precision measuring tools and workshop machinery
*Night shifts with regular overtime (includes shift allowance in the £22 to £25 per hour)
The Person
*Mechanical fitting or engineering background
*Apprentice trained or time-served preferred, not essential
*Willing to learn rotating equipment repair
*Machining, welding or site experience a bonus
*Full UK driving licence advantageous, not essential
