Join a market-leading specialist manufacturer providing essential build, maintenance, and support services to a UK-wide customer base. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as a central point of contact for customers, internal departments, third-party suppliers, and mobile workshop engineers.
- Set up and maintain vehicle build folders, tracking progress through production, IVA inspections, and final handover.
- Log incoming service requests, coordinate mobile engineers, and arrange travel logistics (hotels, transport) as required.
- Handle general operational administration, including inputting engineer timesheets, updating CRM/Excel records, and issuing customer invoices.
- Deal with live queries and breakdown requests, keeping customers updated and problem-solving alongside the Service Manager.
What We're Looking For
- Communication & Personality: A confident, personable communicator who thrives in a close-knit, down-to-earth team and enjoys talking to engineers and customers alike.
- Proactive & Organized: Highly organized with basic IT skills (Excel/Outlook) and the ability to multitask in a varied, fast-paced environment.
- Relevant Interest or Background: Previous administrative experience with a genuine interest (or background) in automotive, engineering, or manufacturing. Supervisory switchers from hospitality, retail, or logistics are also encouraged to apply.
