The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of customer service. Duties:
- Safely operate the 9-seater vehicle, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations in a timely manner.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, including mechanical inspections and ensuring the vehicle is clean and well-maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, including mileage and passenger details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or control centre regarding schedules or any delays.
- Assist with light warehouse duties as required, including loading or unloading items using flatbed equipment if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during daily operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, preferably with passenger transport experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting skills.
