Role Description
The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will design, build, and optimize machine learning models that power EliteResume’s ATS scoring, AI writing assistance, and pattern recognition capabilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and prototyping algorithms, training and evaluating models, and integrating AI components into production-grade software in collaboration with product and engineering teams. The role involves working with natural language processing (NLP) pipelines to better understand resumes and job descriptions, improving model accuracy, scalability, and performance based on user data and feedback. This is a remote contract role, requiring effective communication, reliable self-management, and alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including algorithms, data structures, and clean, maintainable code practices.
- Experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, particularly deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) for applied AI solutions.
- Hands-on expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), such as text classification, sequence modeling, and embedding-based approaches.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar language commonly used for AI development, and familiarity with MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage contract-based deliverables, and collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with resume parsing, HR technology, or recruitment platforms is a plus, as is prior work on recommendation or ranking systems.
