We are seeking energetic and enthusiastic Holiday Camp Coaches to deliver engaging, multi‑activity sessions for children during school holidays. This role inspires young people, promotes physical activity, and creates memorable camp experiences in a safe, supportive environment. Elite Activities we offer include Nerf Wars, Laser Tag, Parachute Games, Bubble Football, Inflatable Fun, Orienteering, Glow‑in‑the‑dark Dodgeball, Crazy Golf and Soft Archery. Founded in 2008, Elite Youth Sports delivers exciting, high‑energy Multi‑Activity Holiday Camps for children aged 4 to 13 across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our action‑packed timetables keep children active, inspired, and smiling—combining a wide variety of recreational sports and activities that encourage teamwork, build self‑confidence, and develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a daily schedule of sports, elite activities, arts and crafts.
- Adapt activities to suit different age groups and abilities.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and energetic camp atmosphere.
- Support behaviour management in line with camp policies.
- Work collaboratively with peers and camp leadership.
- Assist with daily set‑up, pack‑down, and general camp duties.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a similar environment, childcare, school, or coaching capacity.
- Confident leading group activities and sports sessions.
- Energetic, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child safety.
- Must have the right to work in the UK and live in the Oxfordshire/Berkshire area.
Desirable Requirements
- A full driving licence and own transport.
- Level 2 NGB Sports Coaching or BTEC or A Level Sport or childcare qualifications.
- An up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for).
- Safeguarding Certificate (training can be given).
