About Elite Youth Sports

Elite Youth Sports (est. 2008) runs high-quality, high-energy Multi-Activity Holiday Camps for children aged 4–13 across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our mission is to keep children active, inspired and smiling through a wide variety of sports, games and creative activities.

We are now recruiting a Camp Manager for our Newbury holiday camp, leading our team to deliver exceptional school holiday experiences.

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident, proactive Holiday Camp Manager to lead the Newbury site. You’ll oversee daily operations, inspire your team, ensure safeguarding excellence and create a fun, inclusive and engaging environment for every child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and support the Newbury camp team
  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of camp
  • Ensure all activities are engaging, safe and delivered to schedule
  • Uphold safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures
  • Complete daily risk assessments and incident/accident reports
  • Build positive relationships with parents and manage drop-off/collection
  • Maintain accurate registers and ensure ratios are always met
  • Address staff performance issues promptly and professionally
  • Champion a positive, supportive and inclusive camp environment

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience
  • Minimum 2 years working with children (schools, coaching, childcare etc.)
  • Strong communication, organisation and people-management skills
  • Able to stay calm, confident and decisive under pressure
  • Passionate, energetic and positive
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Level 3 NGB Sports Coaching qualification or Teaching/Coaching degree
  • Full driving licence and own transport
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
  • Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene certificates (Training can be provided)

Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

£400 – £560 per week, depending on experience & qualifications

Seasonal work during school holidays
