Elite Youth Sports (est. 2008) runs high-quality, high-energy Multi-Activity Holiday Camps for children aged 4–13 across Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our mission is to keep children active, inspired and smiling through a wide variety of sports, games and creative activities.
We are now recruiting a Camp Manager for our Newbury holiday camp, leading our team to deliver exceptional school holiday experiences.
About the Role
We’re looking for a confident, proactive Holiday Camp Manager to lead the Newbury site. You’ll oversee daily operations, inspire your team, ensure safeguarding excellence and create a fun, inclusive and engaging environment for every child.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support the Newbury camp team
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of camp
- Ensure all activities are engaging, safe and delivered to schedule
- Uphold safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour management procedures
- Complete daily risk assessments and incident/accident reports
- Build positive relationships with parents and manage drop-off/collection
- Maintain accurate registers and ensure ratios are always met
- Address staff performance issues promptly and professionally
- Champion a positive, supportive and inclusive camp environment
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience
- Minimum 2 years working with children (schools, coaching, childcare etc.)
- Strong communication, organisation and people-management skills
- Able to stay calm, confident and decisive under pressure
- Passionate, energetic and positive
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Level 3 NGB Sports Coaching qualification or Teaching/Coaching degree
- Full driving licence and own transport
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain)
- Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, and Food Hygiene certificates (Training can be provided)
Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm
£400 – £560 per week, depending on experience & qualifications
Seasonal work during school holidays
