We are looking for a passionate After School Sports Coach to plan and deliver fun, safe and engaging after school sports sessions for primary school children. The Successful Candidate will promote physical activity, teamwork and confidence through a variety of age-appropriate sports and games, while ensuring the welfare and enjoyment of all participants.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality after school sports clubs to primary school children (ages 4-11).
  • Plan and adapt sessions to suit different ages, abilities and group sizes.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and energetic learning environment.
  • Encourage participation, fair play and good behaviour.
  • Ensure sessions are safe, well-organised and aligned with school policies.
  • Set up and pack away equipment before and after sessions.
  • Effectively manage behaviour in line with school and company expectations.
  • Communicate professionally with school staff, parents and colleagues.
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and risk assessment procedures at all times.

Essential Qualification Requirements

  • A Minimum NGB in Sports Coaching or Multi Sports or Equivalent Coaching qualification

  • 12-hour First Aid Certificate
  • Safeguarding Children Certificate
  • Degree in Sports Coaching, or related subject
  • Up-to-date enhanced DBS (Elite Youth Sports can complete this if needed)
