We’re looking for dynamic, experienced Holiday Camp Managers to take charge of our high-quality, multi-activity children’s camps during school holidays. This is your chance to lead from the front—owning day-to-day operations, energising your team, and creating an inspiring, active environment where children thrive.

As Camp Manager, you’ll drive excellence in every detail. From leading and motivating staff to upholding the highest standards in safeguarding and health & safety, you’ll ensure every child enjoys a safe, inclusive and engaging experience. You’ll build strong relationships with parents, set the tone for your team, and deliver the exceptional standards that define Elite Camps.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the smooth, day-to-day running of camp
  • Lead, motivate and support a team of camp staff to thrive
  • Ensure activities are engaging, high quality and followed to schedule
  • Maintain correct child-to-adult ratios and manage staff breaks effectively
  • Administer first aid as required and complete all accident and incident reports
  • Lead and promote positive behaviour management
  • Implement and uphold all safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Report safeguarding concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Foster a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all
  • Complete thorough daily risk assessments
  • Act as the main point of contact for parents, overseeing drop-off and collection
  • Ensure registers are accurate and up to date
  • Champion a fun, positive experience for every child
  • Address staff conduct or performance issues promptly and escalate when needed
  • Ensure all security and emergency procedures are followed at all times
Essential requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum 2 years working with children in childcare, schools, coaching, or similar settings
  • Confident in leading a team and managing daily camp operations
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
  • Able to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Energetic, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
  • Committed to maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all children
  • Minimum Level 3 NGB Sports Coaching qualification or a degree in Teaching/Coaching
Desirable requirements
  • A full driving licence with access to own transport
  • Up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate on the DBS update service (can be applied for)
  • Safeguarding Certificate (training available)
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate (training provided)
  • Level 2 food hygiene (training provided)
Hours

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

Salary

£400 – £560.00 per week depending on experience and qualifications
