Our aim is to be the preferred business partner for most high-end yacht builders with many exciting contracts across Europe and beyond. The company has an ambitious business plan and we have established a strong track record of delivering high quality projects. Consequently, we have a large pipeline of orders and we are therefore seeking a highly motivated machinist to join our team.

The company is owned and managed by the two Executive Directors who are actively involved in the business. Our mission is to create a team of highly skilled and committed individuals who share our passion to becoming the best cover making business in the UK, you can therefore expect to work closely with all the members of the team and be fully involved in the business.

You will be joining a highly experienced team to create marine covers and canopies and in 2021, our architectural division Elite Architectural Awnings, started to expand allowing a diverse range of awnings and exterior designs to produce, in 2023 we opened our Elite Superyacht Covers division, for both a local and worldwide customer base. All our covers are custom designed to suit the individual requirements of the customer, using the latest technology and highest quality materials.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they already have a good level of sewing machine experience.

This is a role where a very creative mind set will excel. Candidates should have a practical minded and a commitment to developing their skills. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. The role can be physically demanding due to some of the projects we undertake and the materials we use.

The contract will be full time with great opportunities for additional hours. EYC offers a higher standard of pay for this sector and increased holiday with service. Salary is dependent on experience.
