The Role
As Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, efficiency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of service engineers and technicians
- Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads to ensure maximum efficiency
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and handle escalations where required
- Support senior management in achieving departmental KPIs and targets
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Assist with training and development of the service team
About You
- Proven experience in a supervisory or senior service role (ideally within plant, agricultural, construction, or similar industries)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Technical knowledge of machinery or similar equipment is highly desirable
