About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Agricultural Engineer to join a professional and forward-thinking team. This field-based position is ideal for engineers with strong diagnostic and repair skills across tractors, balers, sprayers, and other agricultural or plant machinery.
You’ll work across a range of premium equipment, supported by manufacturer training, a structured progression path, and a solid team culture that values your expertise.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on agricultural machinery
- Working in both workshop and on-site field environments
- Fault-finding across hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Using OEM diagnostic tools and recording accurate service notes
- Participating in an out-of-hours support rota (paid retainer)
Salary and Benefits
- Base Salary: £42,000 – £45,500 (DOE)
- OTE: £55,000 – £60,000+
- £1500/year call-out retainer (on rota)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x weekdays/Saturdays and 2x Sundays/Bank Holidays
- Up to £2,000/year performance bonus
- Company van with fuel card, laptop, mobile phone
- 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with service
- Paid morning and afternoon tea breaks

Ideal Candidate
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Agricultural, Land-Based, Plant or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in agricultural or heavy plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills (hydraulics, electrics, CANbus preferred)
- Customer-focused and confident communicator
- Full UK driving licence
