We have an exciting new vacancy for a Restaurant Attendant to join our team at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough. Pinpointed in the centre of Scarborough, The Royal Hotel offers easy accessibility by public transport. Overlooking the beautiful South Bay, the hotel dates back to the 1830s and boasts 159 classically styled bedrooms along with stunning sea views from the restaurant area.
This is a seasonal role to support the busy Summer season, Christmas period, and peak holiday trade. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and festive shifts will be required.

As a member of our Restaurant team, you will:
- Prepare the restaurant area ready for service
- Serve food and drinks to guests while ensuring they have everything they need
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests
- Be the first point of contact for information about the hotel, products, and services
- Ensure adequate glassware, crockery, and restaurant supplies are available throughout service
- Clear and clean restaurant areas as required
- Be available to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, Christmas, and bank holidays
The successful candidate will be punctual, well presented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
