We have an exciting new vacancy for a Conference & Event Sales Executive to join our team at The Meon Valley Hotel & Country Club. This 113-bedroom Hotel is set in 225 wooded acres with plenty of amenities including a swimming pool, a spa and a gym, with good motorway access to commute to nearby cities like Southampton and Portsmouth.

Your duties will include:

  • Recognising opportunities to maximise revenue, conversion, and drive repeat business through proactive and reactive sales.
  • Identifying potential clients or companies to connect with conducting sales calls and meetings to attract and secure new business
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers
  • Attending client-facing events including networking events, trade shows and strategy sessions, to build strong client connections.

The successful candidate will have the skill and desire to sell. They must have excellent communication and presentation skills with strong commercial awareness. They will also have the ability to flourish in a competitive environment with a sound knowledge of hotel operations.
