We have an exciting new vacancy for a Bar & Café Attendant to join our team at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough. Pinpointed in the centre of Scarborough, The Royal Hotel offers easy accessibility by public transport. Overlooking the beautiful South Bay, the hotel dates back to the 1830s and boasts 159 classically styled bedrooms along with stunning sea views from the restaurant area.
This is a varied customer-facing role working across both the bar and café areas, providing excellent service to hotel guests and visitors.

Your duties will include:
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a professional and friendly manner
- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages and light food items
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Handling cash and card payments accurately using the till system
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout work areas
- Creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about customer service. Previous bar, café, hospitality, or customer-facing experience would be beneficial. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods will be required.
