Our well-established client is looking for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Wills, Trust and Probate department based in Hertford.
Your role will include:
- Opening files
- Checking all AML requirements are met
- Reviewing statements and preparing invoices
- Dealing with HMRC in relation to the Trust Registration Service, tax returns, and Tax payments
- Dealing with the Land Registry in relation to registrations on property deeds
- Assisting existing team members with day-to-day management
- Closing files, to include accounting for any balances
