Our well-established client has a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team, based at their Fareham office.
Role & Responsibilities
- Carrying out all required administrative duties on conveyancing matters.
- Opening files electronically and setting up paper files including conflict & ID checks for clients.
- Prepare correspondence and documents using digital dictation, closing, storage and retrieval of files.
- Liaising with clients and third parties during the course of the file.
Person Specification
- The successful candidate will be experienced preferably in this area of law.
- This role requires a hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Able to communicate in a professional manner with internal and external contacts.
- Commitment to providing excellent client care.
- Excellent IT skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
- Team-focus with a flexible "can do" and collaborative approach to working with others.
