About the Role
Elite Teaching Solutions are recruiting enthusiastic and energetic Outdoor Educators to deliver high-quality outdoor learning/forest school sessions in primary schools across West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who love working with children, enjoy being active, and want to inspire learning beyond the classroom. We have full-time and part-time roles, all working 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging outdoor education sessions to primary-aged pupils
- Lead activities such as team building, nature exploration, problem-solving, outdoor games, and wellbeing sessions
- Support children's confidence, communication, and teamwork skills
- Work collaboratively with school staff to create safe, inclusive learning environments
- Manage behaviour positively and professionally
- Ensure all activities follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with children (schools, youth work, coaching, outdoor centres, sports, or similar)
- Confident leading groups and delivering structured activities
- Passion for outdoor learning, wellbeing, and active education
- Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
