Elite Supply Services are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Lichfield area. We are looking for individuals who are patient, understanding and committed to helping every child reach their full potential whether you have classroom experience or a background in care, support work or youth work.
Role Overview
- Support pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Assist with personal care where required
- Help create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support learning and wellbeing
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school or care setting)
- A caring and patient nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
