We’re looking for a Head of Civil Engineering or Associate Civil Engineer to lead and grow our team. What you’ll be doing
As a key part of our Leadership Team, you’ll guide and develop a growing team while remaining hands-on with a variety of innovative projects. From concept to completion, you’ll lead the design and implementation of:
- Sewage and surface water drainage systems (including SuDS)
- Trade effluent solutions
- Pumped and gravity networks
- Water quality enhancements
- Mains connections
You’ll be at the forefront, managing projects from feasibility to delivery, solving complex challenges, and making a real difference in the built environment. Collaboration is key—you’ll work closely with engineers, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
Your impact
- Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team.

- Navigate technical and regulatory approvals (Environmental Permits, S102, S104, S106, S278, S38, etc.).
- Drive technical excellence, ensuring projects meet the highest engineering and safety standards.

What you bring
- Degree in Civil Engineering with experience in Infrastructure / Drainage / Flood / SuDS / Water.
- Strong knowledge of SuDS, wastewater networks, pumping stations, or wastewater treatment.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing projects from start to finish.
- Ability to scope projects, set budgets and timelines, and create buildable solutions.
- Solid expertise in detailed drawings, schematics, reports, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
