Our client is a growing independent commercial insurance broker with ambitious plans for the future. We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven insurance professional to join the business as Head of Broking & Client Growth.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional broking or management position. You'll combine technical broking, client development, leadership and business growth, working closely with the Managing Director and having a genuine influence on the future direction of the business.

The Opportunity
As Head of Broking & Client Growth, you'll take a leading role across the broking function while continuing to develop and manage your own commercial client portfolio.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing the broking team
- Managing and growing a portfolio of SME and Mid-Market commercial clients
- Driving new business and supporting client retention
- Building strong, long-term relationships with insurers
- Providing technical oversight on complex commercial placements
- Identifying and developing new growth opportunities
- Working closely with the Managing Director on strategic initiatives
- Contributing to the wider direction and growth of the business
This is a hands-on leadership role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to clients, the insurer market and the day-to-day realities of commercial broking — not someone looking for a purely operational management position. xgikmsk
