The Role
As a Claims Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless and professional claims experience, ensuring customers feel supported at every stage. Key responsibilities include:
- Notifying insurers of new claims
- Providing exceptional customer support and maintaining high service standards
- Accurately inputting and updating claims on internal systems
- Maintaining detailed and compliant claims records, including risk screens
- Managing a comprehensive diary system to track claims progress
- Ensuring all actions are clearly documented with detailed file notes
- Handling correspondence promptly to avoid delays in claim settlement
- Securing full settlement details prior to closing files
- Managing repudiated claims and clearly understanding the reasons behind them

You’ll be a confident, organised professional with a strong customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage complex service matters. You will demonstrate:
