About The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for detailed design engineering on a range of energy and heat network projects across London. You'll work closely with the engineering and construction teams to ensure optimal design, procurement, and commissioning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed mechanical design and analysis for heat network projects.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors through all project stages â from design to commissioning.
- Produce technical reports and review project performance.
- Attend site in London periodically during the construction phase.
- Work collaboratively within a multiâdisciplinary team and report to the Engineering Manager.
Experience And Qualifications
- Level 8 / Honours Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, ideally within the energy or building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of LTHW systems and heat pump technology.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks is advantageous.
- Flexible, motivated, and eager to work on innovative engineering solutions.
