My client, a leader in their field, is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a close knit engineering team working across a range of low carbon energy projects in London and beyond. This is a hands on, delivery focused Electrical Design Engineer role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of a project; from early design right through to commissioning and operation. You will work directly under a lead Electrical Engineer and be trusted with responsibility from the outset.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting concept design, detailed design and project delivery on heat network and energy systems
- Working closely with the supply chain to ensure quality and value throughout
- Leading electrical project engineering on a number of live jobs
- Being present on site as required, while also spending time in our London office
- Tracking performance and supporting reporting to the wider project team
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least five years' experience in a similar role
- Full project engineering lifecycle: Design to Installation
- Good knowledge of HV/LV transformers and electrical infrastructure
- Knowledge of Heat Pumps/Chillers & Boilers is an advantage
- Confidence working with suppliers and site teams
