The predicted salary is between 40800 - 50400 £ per year.
Field based, you will be carrying out inspections, repair & maintenance works in boiler rooms / plant rooms and some inspections within flats and apartments throughout London & the South East. To oversee the work of junior commercial gas engineers and domestic gas engineers (up to 2 other operatives). This is a permanent, full‑time employed position for a professional, confident, and motivated individual.
Commercial Gas Engineer Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Domestic gas qualifications: CCN1, CEN1/CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1
- Commercial qualifications: CODNC01, CIGA1, ICPN1, UN‑VENTED HOT WATER STORAGE, TPCP
- 5+ years’ experience diagnosing & repairing heating and plant‑room issues
- May be required to undertake a full DBS check due to projects worked on
- Experience purging new mains above 1m³ (training available if not)
- Will be part of the on‑call rota
Commercial Gas Engineer Must Haves
- Experience working in commercial plant rooms and occupied properties and exceptional customer‑service skills
- Excellent technical knowledge and keen interest in new technologies & equipment
- Ability to write detailed IT‑based reports of findings and work methodically
