Elite Site Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Stick Welder / Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
We specialise in the installation, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of industrial conveyors and balers, predominantly within the waste, recycling and industrial sectors.
This is a UK-wide site-based position with regular working away and excellent earning potential.

- Varied mechanical engineering and welding work The Role You will travel to customer sites throughout the UK carrying out welding, mechanical fitting, maintenance and installation work. Typical duties include:
- Stick/MMA welding
- Mechanical fitting
- Conveyor installation, repair and maintenance
- Conveyor chain replacement
- Replacement of bearings, shafts, sprockets and rollers
- Baler repairs and refurbishment
- On-site fabrication and modifications
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Breakdown repairs
- Installation and removal of industrial machinery What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced engineer who is a competent Stick/MMA welder and mechanical fitter. Previous experience with conveyors, balers, recycling equipment or heavy industrial machinery would be an advantage. Applicants must:
- Be competent in Stick/MMA welding
- Have mechanical fitting experience
- Be willing to travel and work away throughout the UK
- Be willing to work regular overtime
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Have a good attitude towards health and safety CCNSG / Site Safety A valid CCNSG Safety Passport or suitable equivalent is required for site work.
