We are proud to be partnering with a highly respected and values-driven children's residential care provider to recruit for a pivotal Operations Manager role. This organisation currently operates three homes – all rated either Outstanding or Good by Ofsted – and is preparing to open its fourth. Built on the simple but powerful vision of delivering the very best care to the most vulnerable children, they are now looking for an experienced leader to join them on their continued journey of growth and excellence.
About the Role: This is a senior operational position, responsible for overseeing the performance of multiple homes, supporting Registered Managers, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are upheld. The successful candidate will also lead on the development and launch of new services as the organisation expands.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting and managing Registered Managers across the group
- Driving quality, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance
- Leading the development and opening of new homes
- Monitoring performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring accountability
- Balancing a strong values-led approach with commercial awareness and efficiency
- Promoting a culture of excellence, care, and high expectations
Candidate Profile: We’re looking for someone with:
- Substantial senior-level experience within children’s residential care
- A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly Ofsted and safeguarding
