We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Head of M&A Finance to join a growing healthcare organisation at a pivotal stage of expansion. This role will play a critical part in driving the company’s acquisition strategy, supporting mergers, and delivering high-quality financial insight to investors and stakeholders.
You will be at the centre of deal activity—evaluating opportunities, leading financial due diligence, and ensuring strong return on investment across new and existing business units.

Key Responsibilities- Lead financial analysis and modelling for mergers and acquisitions within the healthcare sector
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets, including ROI, profitability, and long-term value creation
- Liaise directly with banks, lenders, and financial institutions to support deal structuring and funding
- Prepare and present detailed investment papers and performance reports to investors and senior stakeholders
- Oversee financial due diligence processes for acquisitions and integrations
- Monitor and report on the performance of acquired and existing businesses
- Partner with operational teams to ensure financial targets are met post-acquisition
- Support strategic decision-making with clear, data-driven insights
- Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment analysis
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Experience working with banks, lenders, and/or private investors
- Background in healthcare, care homes, or multi-site businesses is highly desirable
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
- Highly commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills
