As the company continues to grow, we are looking for an organised, proactive and confident Recruitment & Payroll Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth onboarding and ongoing management of our temporary workforce. The Role
As a Recruitment & Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the business with the onboarding and administration of temporary workers. You will work closely with candidates, workers, recruitment consultants and payroll providers to ensure all workers are fully set up and compliant before starting work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up temporary workers on internal systems and databases
- Registering and onboarding new temporary workers
- Completing and managing ID and Right to Work checks
- Liaising with workers and payroll providers to ensure individuals are correctly set up for payment
- Supporting workers through the onboarding process and answering any queries they may have
- Managing and processing timesheets
- Checking timesheet information for accuracy
- Producing and maintaining regular reports
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating with workers by phone, email and other channels
- Supporting the wider recruitment team with general administration
- Ensuring all onboarding and compliance processes are completed accurately and efficiently
- Providing a high level of customer service to temporary workers throughout their journey with the business
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, reliable and confident when communicating with people. You will need to be comfortable speaking to temporary workers over the phone, explaining processes clearly and building positive relationships with the people you are supporting.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Good IT skills and confidence using systems and databases
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
Previous experience in recruitment, payroll, compliance or administration would be beneficial, but is not essential. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with people.
