Location: Mirfield/Hybrid

Contract: Permanent / Full-time - flexible hours available
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded charity supporting adults and children with learning disabilities and complex needs across residential services. They are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join their people team. This is a varied, hands-on HR role with a strong focus on employee relations, offering flexible working hours and a hybrid working model to support work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management
- Performance management and coaching line managers
- Supporting investigations, hearings, and outcomes
- Advising on employment law, policies, and best practice
- Ensuring fair and consistent application of HR procedures
- Building strong relationships with managers in frontline care services
About you
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or ER-focused role
- Solid understanding of UK employment law
- Confident handling sensitive and sometimes complex ER cases
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience within social care, healthcare, charity, or not-for-profit settings is desirable
- CIPD 3 qualified
- CIPD level 5 or working towards (desirable, not essential)
