I am currently working with a provider of children's residential care to recruit a Deputy Manager for their new large children's home based in Burton Latimer, caring for children with learning disabilities.
In this role you will:
- Work with the Registered Manager to support the home through procedures, policies and activities engaged in to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for the child or young person they are responsible for.
- Support the staff team to ensure positive outcomes for the children they support.
- Work with the Manager to continuously develop the home to achieve and maintain Outstanding with OFSTED.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Supervisory experience within a residential home for children and young people with learning disabilities.
- Hold a NVQ level 3 in children and young people.
- Be passionate about delivering outstanding care.
- Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures and best practice in caring for looked after children.
