Overview
Resettlement Officer β Temp Role β Torbay Area β 38 Hour Week β 28 days\β holidays increasing β Weekly Paid β Parking Permit β Temp role until March 2026, could be longer.
Our client is looking for someone to join their Community Safety Team within Communities and Customer Service for Vulnerable Adults in the Torbay Area.
Responsibilities
- To find Accommodation in order to reduce Homelessness in the Torbay area
- Carry Out Welfare Checks
- Regular contact with Housing Departments and Local Registered Land Lords to find Accommodation
- Liaise with different Agencies such as Hostels, Drug & Alcohol Probation, Housing Departments & Local Land Lords
- Work out in the field in order to Engage with, Risk Assess and take corrective action as required
- Work around the whole of the Torbay Area
- Maybe required to work from 6am on the Out Reach Program
Skills & Qualifications
- Full Driving License (for Company Vehicle Use)
- Ability to Engage, Listen, Empathise and Connect with Clients
- Ability to deal with complex issues such as Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Abuse
- Have excellent People Skills
- Calm, Patient attitude
- To follow instruction and Protocols as required
- A full Enhance DBS is required for this role
