Our client, a leading company based in Tamworth, is looking to recruit a reliable, hardworking and flexible Warehouse Operative to join their busy team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established business offering day shifts only, no weekend working, and an excellent working environment.
Days and hours are Monday to Friday Days Only 40 Hours Per Week Hours The Role This is a true all-round warehouse position where you’ll be involved in a variety of duties, including: Operating Counterbalance and Reach Fork Lift Trucks safely and efficiently.
Bendi FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Loading and unloading deliveries.
Booking goods in and goods out.
Picking and packing customer orders using barcode scanners.
Checking products for accuracy and ensuring stock is rotated correctly by date.
Replenishing warehouse stock and maintaining organised shelving.
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Working to company KPIs and productivity targets.
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety procedures.
Supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties as required.
About You The successful applicant will have: Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences (essential).
Bendi licence or experience (desirable).
Previous warehouse experience within a fast-paced environment.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
A stable work history with excellent reliability and timekeeping.
A trustworthy and hardworking approach to work.
Hours Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week.
One-hour lunch break.
Latest finish time is 5.30 pm.
No weekends required.
Excellent benefits including car parking pension 23 days holiday plus bank holidays note Xmas is on a rota basis as they are open.
