Are you an experienced recruitment professional who loves winning new business, but no longer wants the day-to-day responsibility of running a recruitment desk? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join an established recruitment business based in North Birmingham. This is a pure business development role – NOT a Recruitment Consultant position.
The Role
- Proactively identifying and approaching potential new clients
- Winning temporary and permanent recruitment vacancies
- Making outbound business development calls
- Networking and attending events
- Building relationships with businesses across a variety of sectors
- Speaking confidently with contacts at all levels, from hiring managers and HR teams through to Directors and business owners
- Following up leads and identifying new recruitment opportunities
- Re-establishing relationships with previous and dormant clients
- Arranging meetings and introducing the agency's recruitment services
- Negotiating and agreeing terms
- Working closely with the recruitment team, who will take responsibility for sourcing and filling the vacancies you bring in
- Working towards agreed new-business targets and KPIs
