What You’ll Be Doing
- Opening new files and completing client ID and compliance checks
- Preparing client care and engagement documentation
- Drafting basic property sale contracts
- Obtaining Land Registry documents and official copies
- Ordering property searches
- Preparing and amending legal documents
- Using Microsoft Word, including tracked changes
- Preparing completion statements
- Carrying out priority searches
- Assisting with Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
- Preparing Land Registry applications, including AP1 forms
- Producing professional emails, letters and documentation
- Keeping client and matter systems fully updated
- Arranging appointments and client meetings
- Speaking with clients and providing updates throughout their transaction
- Taking accurate messages and producing file notes
- Supporting the wider property team when required
