Are you an experienced telephone professional looking for your next challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful financial services organisation based in Tamworth, with two full-time and one part-time opportunities available. This is NOT a sales role. You’ll be speaking with customers to recover outstanding balances and agree suitable payment solutions in a professional and empathetic manner.

The Role

As a Collections Executive, you’ll play a vital role in helping customers regain control of their accounts while delivering excellent customer service every step of the way. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound calls to customers in arrears with their invoice payment, aiming to resolve matters in a single call; your calls will be on an auto dialler so you don’t even have to think who to call next!
  • Handling inbound calls relating to overdue accounts and general customer enquiries.
  • Taking secure payments over the phone quickly and efficiently.
  • Issuing copy invoices, statements, and relevant documentation when required.

This is a people-focused role where empathy, communication, and problem-solving are key.

  • Ideally educated to graduate level (though this isn’t essential).
  • Confident communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Calm, professional, and solutions-focused, even in challenging situations.
  • Previous experience in collections.
