Our client is looking for a motivated and organised Admin Collector to join their team. This is an administration-focused role, supporting the debt collection process through written correspondence, research, case management and customer communication.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently, have a strong eye for detail and understand the importance of following company processes and policies. You will be responsible for corresponding with debtors by email and post, reviewing responses and ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken.
Full training will be provided, although previous experience within customer service, complaints, administration or a similar environment would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to debtor correspondence received by email and post.
- Review and process administrative responses accurately and efficiently.
- Send follow-up correspondence requesting further information or evidence where required.
- Review information provided by debtors and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Carry out company searches and online research to identify and verify relevant contact information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all correspondence and actions taken.
- Follow established company processes, procedures and policies at all times.
- Make occasional telephone contact with customers where required, including confirming contact details or reviewing individual circumstances.
- Deal professionally with telephone calls received from debtors following email or postal correspondence.
- Identify when further information or clarification is required and take appropriate follow-up action.
- Ensure all cases are progressed efficiently and within required timescales.
