This is a practical, active role where you’ll visit commercial premises and ensure kitchen extraction systems are thoroughly cleaned, maintained and inspected. You’ll work primarily during the night, when restaurants and commercial kitchens are closed, and will usually work as part of a small team. The Role As a Kitchen Extraction Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out specialist cleaning and maintenance work across a variety of commercial sites, including restaurants, pubs, hotels, care homes and other businesses. Your duties will include: Cleaning commercial kitchen extraction and grease-duct systems. Deep-cleaning canopies, filters, fans and associated equipment. Removing grease, carbon deposits and other contaminants. Using specialist cleaning equipment and chemicals safely. Working at height where necessary and using suitable access equipment.
