We are currently recruiting for a Shop Floor Manager position on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in the NG10 area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and hands-on manager with a strong engineering or manufacturing background to join a growing business.
The Role:
- Managing day-to-day shop floor operations
- Supervising production staff and ensuring workflow efficiency
- Monitoring production targets, quality and output
- Supporting continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
- Ensuring health and safety compliance
- Liaising with management, production, and engineering teams
- Assisting with planning, scheduling, and workload management
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Shop Floor Manager, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager role
- Strong engineering or manufacturing background
- Experience managing teams within a production environment
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
