We are currently recruiting for a Shop Floor Manager position on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in the NG10 area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and hands-on manager with a strong engineering or manufacturing background to join a growing business.

The Role:

  • Managing day-to-day shop floor operations
  • Supervising production staff and ensuring workflow efficiency
  • Monitoring production targets, quality and output
  • Supporting continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Liaising with management, production, and engineering teams
  • Assisting with planning, scheduling, and workload management

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Shop Floor Manager, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager role
  • Strong engineering or manufacturing background
  • Experience managing teams within a production environment
  • Good understanding of health and safety and quality standards
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Hands-on and proactive approach
