Are you an experienced HSE Manager looking for a rewarding, long-term opportunity with competitive pay? My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to join their team during an exciting period of growth.
The Role
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 45001 standards
- Assisting with maintaining and renewing company accreditations
- Investigating accidents, near misses, and hazards, and implementing corrective actions
- Managing PPE control, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance across the workforce
- Holding managers accountable for safety processes and adherence within their teams
- Monitoring and reporting on department KPIs, and taking corrective actions when necessary
- Coordinating fire drills and emergency response exercises
- Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and monthly safety reports
- Staying up to date with the latest health & safety legislation
- Conducting inductions and providing training as required
- Visiting the head office in Heanor, Derbyshire on a regular basis
What We Are Looking For
- NEBOSH diploma
- At least 5 years of experience in site safety and CDM regulations
- Experience with quality and safety accreditations
- Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Proficient in using safety systems and computer-based applications
- Passionate, driven, and able to work effectively at all levels of the business
