Are you an experienced Business Services Manager looking to join a growing, modern accounting and advisory firm where you can genuinely influence clients, mentor a team, and play a key role in the firm's continued growth? We are partnering with a highly regarded boutique advisory and accounting practice that works closely with SME business owners, entrepreneurs and family groups. The firm prides itself on building long-term client relationships and providing strategic business advice that goes well beyond compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of SME and private business clients with annual fees of approximately $1 million
  • Lead client meetings and act as the primary point of contact for key client relationships
  • Provide proactive tax, accounting and business advisory services
  • Review financial statements, tax returns and complex compliance work, including leading, mentoring and developing a team across both onshore and offshore resources
  • Deliver strategic advice around business performance, growth, cash flow and profitability
  • Identify opportunities to add value and expand client relationships
  • Work closely with the Directors on business improvement initiatives and firm growth strategies

About You:

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Extensive Australian public practice experience within Business Services and Tax
  • Demonstrated experience managing a client portfolio of approximately $1 million in fees
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong client-facing skills with confidence leading meetings and presenting advice
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Experience working with both onshore and offshore team structures
  • A proactive, commercially minded and relationship-focused approach
  • Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge
