Elite Mechanics is seeking a qualified motor vehicle technician to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is primarily focused on servicing and maintaining light fleet vehicles across the UK (cars / vans), with a strong focus on inspecting a fleet of modern small minibuses.
This role will be based from Derby (DE24) however will involve travelling nationwide.
We are looking for someone to:
β Have a City & Guilds or similar qualification in motor vehicle repair
β Undertake routine vehicle servicing and maintenance as required
β Be able to work independently
β Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on vehicles
β A clean driving licence is highly desirable (for insurance purposes you will have need to have held a full driving license for at least 3 years)
β Be customer focused in delivering a high quality, reliable service
β Have good communication skills and be able to write clearly and effectively to maintain accurate records and evidence customer interactions
β Maintain a fully stocked and organized service vehicle, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.
This role will require:
β Occasional nights away from home where a hotel will be provided
β Occasional Saturday\βs (exchanged with a day off in the week)
β Your own tools
