About Us: We are a well-established property inventory company with over 10 years’ experience servicing estate agents, landlords, and property managers across London. Our reputation is built on accurate, detailed reporting, excellent communication, and flexible, reliable service. We’re now looking to expand our team of Property Inventory Clerks.
Role Overview: As a Property Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for visiting properties across London to complete detailed inventory reports, check-in/check-out inspections, and mid-term property visits. You’ll represent our brand on-site, interacting with tenants, landlords, and agents professionally and courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inventory reports, check-in/check-out reports, and interim inspections
- Accurately document the condition of properties, furnishings, décor, and cleanliness
- Take comprehensive photographic evidence to support all reports
- Liaise with tenants and letting agents on-site during appointments
- Submit completed reports within agreed timeframes using our reporting software
- Manage your own diary and travel efficiently between appointments across London
- Ensure all equipment (tablet, camera, etc.) is used correctly and maintained
Requirements:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Confident using mobile devices, apps, and cloud-based reporting tools
- Well-presented and professional with strong customer service skills
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car or motorcycle (or willingness to travel via public transport if applicable)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends
- A smartphone with good camera
- Previous experience in property inventory work or property management
- Knowledge of lettings industry and tenancy regulations
- AIIC/APIP accreditation (or willingness to train)
- Experience with inventory software such as InventoryBase or similar
