Adult Social Care Lawyer

Permanent Position

Hybrid Working

£40,000 - £51,000 DOE

Sellick Partnership are absolutely delighted to be assisting a number of authorities in the Yorkshire region with permanent recruitment into their adult social care legal team.

Responsibilities of the Adult Social Care Lawyer:

  • Making applications to the Court of Protection and High Court, e.g. COP applications
  • Deprivation of Liberty cases
  • Providing detailed advice on the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008, Mental Health Act 1983 and associated Regulations and Statutory Guidance.
  • Ordinary residence advice

Experience required for the Adult Social Care Lawyer:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
