Reservations Manager – Eastbourne, East Sussex The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for a Reservations Manager to join our busy Reservations Office Overview A Senior Management position overseeing the reservations department. To accept guest reservations and group bookings, at all times offering the highest standards of customer service, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the Reservation Office, with a focus on Guest Experience and Sales at all times. Attend and be a proactive participant in yield management meetings and to ensure that the Reservations Supervisor is able to deputise in your absence e.g.; for holiday cover Ensure that reservations staff are efficient and competent in sales tasks and understand the selling strategies arising from the yield meetings and sales initiatives Encourage and nurture new ideas/procedures that are deemed beneficial to the development of the hotel’s business Ensure all 3rd Party Websites are kept updated in conjunction with the Revenue Manager for Elite Hotels. Prepare all the appropriate reports to aid in the sales and yield strategies This is full time role working 40hrs per week over five days out of seven, which will include weekends. The office is covered from 8am to 8pm, shifts will vary around these hours.
