The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne are recruiting for a Painter/Decorator to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis, fixed term of six months.
When you join us, you will be required to assist in the main hotel with painting and maintenance work, including preventative and reactive work within the hotel bedrooms and public areas. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel carrying out other ad hoc maintenance tasks. You will be working within the multi-skilled Maintenance team and whilst this will be your main responsibility you will have the support of the rest of the team.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours, five days per week, working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm. The role may suit someone looking for a temporary role having recently qualified as painter/decorator looking to get some experience and foot in the door or an opportunity to work over the summer period. Should there be an opportunity a permanent contract may be offered after six months. Interview will include a work trial.

- General Maintenance experience ideally within a customer service environment
